Full job description:

We are seeking a Social Media and Design Intern to support our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social media, design and digital marketing. This role will involve creating engaging visual content, managing social media accounts and handling email communication.

Responsibilities:

• Content Creation:
  – Design eye-catching graphics and videos using Canva and Filmora.
  – Develop visually appealing posts tailored for different social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.
• Social Media Management:
  – Schedule and publish posts on various social media platforms.
  – Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  – Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns.
  – Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
• Email Communication:
  – Draft, format and send professional emails for marketing campaigns, newsletters and client communication.
  – Maintain and update the email database.
  – Assist in the development and implementation of email marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in a related Bachelor’s degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design) or recent graduate.
• Proficiency in Canva and Filmora or similar design and video editing tools.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective best practices
•  Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•  Basic understanding of email marketing tools and strategies.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•  Strong organizational and time-management skills.
