Full job description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven AI/ML Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science by working alongside experienced engineers and researchers. You will assist in developing AI/ML models, solving real-world challenges, and contributing to the innovation of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, testing, and deployment of machine learning models under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Help analyze large datasets, clean data, and apply exploratory data analysis techniques.
- Participate in the implementation of AI/ML algorithms using Python, R, or other relevant languages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems using AI/ML techniques.
- Support the team in researching and experimenting with various machine learning models, algorithms, and tools.
- Assist in the evaluation of model performance, including optimization and fine-tuning.
- Document research findings, experiments, and progress on assigned projects.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and techniques.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and visualization tools like Matplotlib or Seaborn.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a bonus.
- Exposure to natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision techniques.
- Basic understanding of data preprocessing and feature engineering.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
